I’m excited to serve as the school counselor for high school students with last names beginning with Sm–Z! I’m passionate about supporting students in all aspects of their development—from managing emotions and building interpersonal skills to exploring college and career options and creating thoughtful academic plans.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from Hiram College, a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Kent State University, and a Master’s degree in School Counseling from John Carroll University. Before joining Hudson City Schools, I worked as an Assistant Director of Admission at a local college, where I discovered my love for guiding students as they explore post-secondary opportunities and plan for life after graduation.
Outside of school, my husband and I stay busy with our two daughters, who are active in soccer and swimming. When we’re not at the field or pool, I enjoy spending time outdoors—especially when the sun is shining!
