Open House Video AP & Advanced Art

Hello!  My name is Carolyn Huber and I teach fine arts at Hudson High School. I have been an educator since 1999 and have taught elementary, middle and high school students throughout my career. I currently teach Art I, Creative Painting, Advanced Painting, Mixed Media and Design, Advanced Drawing, AP Studio Art and Advanced Art.

I was born and raised in Minnesota and moved to Ohio in 2007. I received my Bachelors Degree of Fine Arts from The University of Minnesota Duluth and my Masters Degree in Education from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. I also became a 'Master Teacher' in 2011.

I live with my husband and two young boys in North Ridgeville, OH. Some of my favorite pastimes are spending time with my family, running, playing soccer, creating art, traveling and watching the Minnesota Vikings (most years.) 

I have a passion for art and teaching and am thrilled to be educating high school students! As an art teacher I motivate my students to grow as creative thinkers and problem solvers, develop and nurture artistic expression and become lifelong learners.
